About the event
Vineyard Cares is a prevention coalition focused on preventing problem behaviors in Vineyard Utah. The coalition consists of volunteers and experts that are interested in family, youth, and community wellbeing. Vineyard Cares follows the Communities that Care model. We need youth involvement and help in planning and implementing prevention initiatives. Some of these events include a Children's Health Fair, Kindness Week, Red Ribbon Week, Guiding Good Choices Kid Care, city events, and the largest event is a family carnival event for Vineyard Days. Teens will help plan, prepare for, and "staff" events. This is a fun opportunity for youth to be involved in the community and also learn more about public health and prevention. Commitment requirements include attending meetings once a month and then helping the day of events. If you have questions please contact Jessica at 801.687.7705 or jessicam@vineyardutah.org.
